CHIEF INSTRUCTOR BRIEFING & OPERATIONAL NOTES

The Boeing 777-300ER is very long (73.9 meters). On taxi turns, use the "oversteer" technique: taxi past the turn centerline before swinging the nosewheel to ensure the main landing gear clears the runway edge lights.

AIRCRAFT TRIVIA & HIGHLIGHTS
1FACT #1

The GE90-115B engine is wider in diameter than the entire passenger cabin fuselage of a Boeing 737!

2FACT #2

The 777-200LR holds the world record for the longest non-stop commercial flight in history: 22 hours and 22 minutes (Hong Kong to London flying eastward, 11,664 NM).

3FACT #3

It was the first commercial aircraft entirely designed using 3D computer computer-aided modeling (CATIA) without physical mockups.
