CHIEF INSTRUCTOR BRIEFING & OPERATIONAL NOTES

Carburetor icing is a genuine risk on the C152 even in warm, humid weather. Always pull carburetor heat fully ON whenever reducing throttle below 1,900 RPM on descent or in the traffic pattern.

AIRCRAFT TRIVIA & HIGHLIGHTS
1FACT #1

Over 7,500 Cessna 152s were built between 1977 and 1985, serving as the primer training aircraft for generations of student pilots.

2FACT #2

The "Aerobat" version (A152) is certified for +6.0g and -3.0g, allowing legal spins, loops, and barrel rolls.

3FACT #3

Its stall speed with full flaps is just 35 knots (65 km/h) – slower than the speed of a car driving on a suburban street.
