AIRCRAFT TRIVIA & HIGHLIGHTS
1FACT #1

The DA40 NG runs on standard Jet-A1 kerosene instead of expensive 100LL aviation avgas, cutting operating fuel costs by up to 50%.

2FACT #2

It has a single power lever: the computerized FADEC handles fuel injection, turbo boost, and propeller pitch automatically without any mixture knob.

3FACT #3

Its glide ratio is an astonishing 14:1 – if the engine stops at 10,000 feet, you can glide without power for over 23 nautical miles (42 km)!
