CHIEF INSTRUCTOR BRIEFING & OPERATIONAL NOTES

Crosswind landings in the E175 require disciplined rudder and aileron inputs. Keep the upwind wing low through the touchdown and do not release rudder back to center until the nosewheel is firmly on the centerline.

AIRCRAFT TRIVIA & HIGHLIGHTS
1FACT #1

The E175 is the undisputed king of US regional aviation, flown extensively for United Express, American Eagle, and Delta Connection.

2FACT #2

It was specifically sized to comply with the 76-seat US airline pilot "scope clause" union restrictions.

3FACT #3

The newer E175 models feature large, sweeping angled wingtips that improve fuel efficiency by up to 5.5% over the original design.
