CHIEF INSTRUCTOR BRIEFING & OPERATIONAL NOTES

The fly-by-wire system trims automatically in pitch during normal flight. In the flare, ease the yoke back gently; pulling too forcefully will trigger pitch rate overshoot due to the flight control computers.

AIRCRAFT TRIVIA & HIGHLIGHTS
1FACT #1

The E-Jets cabin has a 2+2 layout with no middle seats whatsoever, making it a massive passenger favorite.

2FACT #2

The E190 is certified for steep approaches (up to 5.5° glidepath), enabling scheduled operations into London City Airport (EGLC).

3FACT #3

The iconic "M-shaped" ram's horn control yokes were specifically designed by Embraer to allow pilots to read charts placed on their laps.
