CHIEF INSTRUCTOR BRIEFING & OPERATIONAL NOTES

The SR22 has a free-castering nosewheel (not linked to rudder pedals). Ground steering at low taxi speeds requires gentle taps on the toe brakes. On final approach, avoid carrying excessive speed, as the slippery composite airframe will float for thousands of feet down the runway.

AIRCRAFT TRIVIA & HIGHLIGHTS
1FACT #1

The Cirrus SR22 has been the best-selling general aviation airplane in the world every single year for over 20 consecutive years.

2FACT #2

The CAPS parachute system has saved more than 250 lives in real-world emergencies since its introduction.

3FACT #3

Unlike conventional aircraft with a center control yoke, the SR22 uses an ergonomic side-yoke with electric trim on the control handle.
